"Freaks and Geeks" was a true highlight of my early career. Looking back, it's amazing how a single season of television has continued to resonate so deeply with audiences — enough to sustain multiple Facebook groups and communities dedicated to preserving its memory.
It makes me incredibly proud to know I contributed to a show that has become such a cultural touchstone. Being on set with that team — sharing in the creativity, collaboration, and heart that made the show so unique — is something I’ll always carry with me.

Call Sheets are an essential production document that outlines the day’s work in detail. They include call times for cast and crew, scene numbers and page counts, shooting locations, required equipment, props, and set dressing. Additionally, they provide key logistical details such as sunrise and sunset times, safety meeting schedules, nearby hospital locations, and important contact numbers. All of this information helps ensure that the production runs efficiently and stays on schedule.
After years of working on sets in Hollywood, it’s not uncommon for me to recognize locations I’ve worked at appearing on a TV (whether it’s a familiar restaurant or a bar) while I’m out in public. It’s always a rewarding and surreal reminder of the work I’ve been a part of. From the back lot at Paramount Studios to a mansion in Beverly Hills, I’ve had the opportunity to work in countless iconic locations that audiences have seen across films, television shows, and commercials.

Self made videos dedicated to the working crews behind every major production. The unsung heroes of the industry who are the first to show up and the last to leave.
There is a growing family within social media, complete with dedicated pages and groups, who's focus is on producing movies and TV shows.
YouTube provides excellent videos that are informative on the process of effective storytelling.
This is from the show "The Rookie." Process trailers have been a way for production to achieve driving shots in movies and television. It's a process that involves putting an automobile on a trailer and towing it around city streets. It usually involves a police blocking of traffic and is quite an ordeal. I believe this show is on the cutting edge of camera placement and technology using all methods of camera angles such as police body cameras and surveillance cameras that run 24/7.
